early sculpt from two-part epoxy

Here is a sculpt of a German infantryman (bust) made in two-part epoxy-commonly known as "Mseal" (a putty sealant used for water leakage). This has a GI wire armature which is visible & bulking is of Aluminium foil.

Something about me & this fantastic hobby

I am an undergraduate architecture student from School Of Architecture, Ahmedabad.
While working  on terracotta clay in my first year at CEPT, I stumbled upon the works of many great miniature figurists across the world. I started making my first miniature figure in 2007 with plasticine clay, a wire armature & painted in acrylics. I present some of my very early sculpts:

what are miniature sculptures?

Miniature sculptures are considered to be the replica of the original, where the only difference between the two are their scales. A story or a description is always associated with them.
The miniature sculptures here have been made using plasticine clay, terracotta clay & two-part epoxy (Mseal). GI & copper wires are used for the armature, aluminium foil for the bulking & a wooden base to mount.
